PWL Honors its Champions
The Potomac Wiffleball League honored it’s champions Wednesday night at the Champions’ Dinner as three award winners were named and the 2007 Spring World Series Trophy was presented.
- Joe Gortenburg (Masterbatters) was named the Rookie of the Year
- Mindie Reule (Borg) was named the Most Valuable Female Player
- Stephen Zigmund (Canvassers) was named the Most Valuable Player
The inaugural trophy for the World Series Champions, officially named the Commissioner’s Trophy, was also presented to Sam Crowel and Anne Krinock of the Coconut Cowboys.
Commissioner Gallaway presents the 2007 Spring Potomac Wiffleball League Commissioner’s Trophy to the World Champion Coconut Cowboys.
