Maids Sweep Year End Honors

It was cold comfort for the Mega Maids as they swept year-end honors at the PWL Champions Dinner just three days after losing the World Series to the underdog Canvassers.

Brett Beyerlin was named the league’s Most Valuable Player for the Spring Season garnering 56% of the vote in the five man race. Beyerlin did the league a favor and skipped the dinner so those in attendance could enjoy their meals.

Chris Coger picked up Rookie of the Year honors beating out two others with 80% of the vote. Coger who had a post-season melt down at the plate and on the mound gave an emotional acceptance speech that no one listened too. Commissioner Gallaway presented Coger the award as Mega Maids manager Kris Garcia looked on from the crowd.

Less suspensful were the recognitions given to the season stat leaders in nine categories.
