World Series POSTPONED!
written by Commissioner Gallaway
Delays and disappointment have plagued the 2008 Spring Season from the start. Being forced out of our home for 5 seasons, never ending rain, and then astronauts finding arsenic, all of which fails to compare to 43% of the games being forfeited.
The post-season has been no different. Two of the four teams had to forfeit on Saturday’s Division Championships setting up a phoned it World Series.
Team managers for the Mega Maids and Canvassers spoke over the weekend and consulted with the Commissioner’s Office and decided to postpone the World Series games scheduled for today.
The last time a World Series was postponed was during the 1989 San Francisco earthquake.

SUNDAY GAMES POSTPONED DUE TO ARSENIC
written by Commissioner Gallaway
Games scheduled for Sunday, May 18, have been postponed due to the announced closure today of Ft. Reno Park for high levels of arsenic.
Sunday, May 25th was a scheduled off day for Memorial Day weekend already, so league games will resume Sunday June 1, 2008, and a potential new field location may be announced.
Make-up schedule information for later weeks will be posted soon.
What do you think has caused arsenic levels at Ft. Reno to be elevated?
