Game of the Week (Sp08): Week 3 Nominess

In an effort to make it easier on the league office to produce the videos, the New Media Director has requested an earlier deadline for voting on Game of the Week.
VOTES ARE DUE TUESDAY AT 6 PM
Week 3 Games:
- Wackazoids beat Rossi Posse (6-3): The Wackazoids turned on their offensive onslaught against the hapless Posse largely on the back of their returning veteran and POTW nominee this week Drew Wold and some fine hitting from manager Andrew Wiseman.
- Wackazoids beat Rossi Posse (6-0): Wold drove in three, but with four errors the Posse gave this one away. Posse guest player Jen Morrissey is roughed up for the second time on the mound, giving up five runs, but none of them earned. Give the girl some help guys, field the damn ball!
- WMD’s beat Rated ‘E’ (3-0): Despite being out hit six to four, the WMD’s had matching solo homers from Steve Dubois and Chris Kennedy to blank Rated ‘E’.
- Rated ‘E’ beat WMD’s (4-2): Rated ‘E’ evened the season series with WMD’s as Week 2 POTW and nominee this week Charlie Zold homered twice and drove in all four of runs for his squad.
- Free Agents beat Mega Maids (4-1): The undefeated Mega Maids season came to a screeching hault as guest player Dan Miller drove in two and homered to help push his team over the top. Rookie Chris Coger on the mound for the Mega Maids gave up all of the Agent’s runs, three of them earned.
- Mega Maids beat Free Agents (1-0): The Mega Maids have been called the worst 5-1 team in league history and were lucky to limp in a victory in the second game with the Free Agents. Despite committing three errors, the Maids managed a solo Brett Beyerlin run to keep this one from going extra innings.
- Canvassers beat Crazed Mud Puppies (3-2): The Mud Puppies wouldn’t go away and Mike Katzif and Patrick Browning launched solo shots to tie this one up after three and a half. Tony Cani broke an 0-for-eternity streak with a double in the bottom half of the fourth and Stephen Zigmund drove him in with the GWRBI to sneak past the Puppies.
- Canvassers beat Crazed Mud Puppies (1-0): If there is a highlight in this snore fest we can’t find it. A Zigmund solo shot in the first started the game off right, but then absolutely nothing happened at all.
