Five teams went in tied for the last two playoff spots, but only two came out.
Alcoholics Anonymous went 2-0 early to clinch their spot, and Flaglove played the late games with a huge upset of the undefeated Canvassers for their 2-0 weekend and playoff spot. During the regular season, Flaglove beat the Alcoholics, so they get the #3 seed.
None of the other three teams even won a single game, let alone a split that might have put them in a tiebreaker situation. Mr. Party’s Waddle and Flea Bitten Varmits ran into a brick wall as the Rough Riders, eliminated from postseason, played spoilers, partly on the back of a Kris Garcia Perfect Game. Joe Buck Yourself wasn’t even close, losing to the top two teams in the league.

In stats news, Tony Ragano came from behind in ERA and OBA to win the first Pitching Triple Crown in league history.
John Bernard, also of Clubber Lang, won the Fielding Triple Crown for Catching (kinda). There are nine catchers tied at a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage. Bernard has the most time played though. A similar tie, between two people, exists at the pitcher position. The league needs to clarify the fielding tie breakers before it’s official.
