DeSorrento landed in the PWL after bouncing around in different wiffle leagues in Connecticut and New York. He's a five tool player who has great stuff from the mound, but has trouble with his command and often doesn't finish his starts.
"My pitches are too nasty for these cheap radar guns" said DeSorrento in an exclusive interview with Wiffle Digest. "If we got rid of them, that Cy Young trophy would be on the shelf next to my Battle Beasts collection for sure."
DeSorrento is aggressive at the plate and on the basepaths. When hes not striking out trying to hit a tape measure Home Run, hes hitting a tape measure Home Run, or getting tagged out trying to turn a single into a triple. On gamedays you can find him yelling at teammates from the batter's box while gulping a beer.
